NEWAYGO COUNTY (WKZO) — The preliminary results of the autopsy on baby Natallya were inconclusive.
That means everyone involved with the heart wrenching case in White Cloud will have to wait for the results of further testing.
The father, Matthew Bradley will remain in jail, charged with failing to disclose the death for four days.
He admitted to police that he took drugs and then took a nap with the baby, only to discover she was dead when he woke up.
He then panicked, putting the child in her car seat and hiding her in a crawl space under his Grandmother’s home.
TV-8 asked the local police chief, Roger Mendham why he didn’t search their home.
He says the family did not seem that concerned that the baby was in any danger, and believed what Bradley was telling them, that the baby was with his sister
. He says on hindsight, he says he should have but it wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
