LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state House Tax Policy Committee is slated to vote tomorrow on a six-bill package that makes some adjustments on the phase out of Michigan’s Personal Property Tax on certain industrial sites. The legislation would establish audit and appeals protocol into the framework for taxing such land, along with helping local municipalities through the new process, and allocating 300 thousand dollars over three years for the Local Community Stabilization Authority to implement the system.
