LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Former Michigan Republican Party chairman Saul Anuzis is heading up the campaign in this state of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz as he runs for President.
Anuzis chaired the party from 2005 to 2009, during which time the Republicans lost control of the state House and were unable to unseat Governor Jennifer Granholm.
Senator Cruz released a statement saying “Saul has a strong record of leadership, success and exemplary management in Michigan.”
Anuzis will also serve as a senior advisor to the national campaign.
