SHELBYVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Investigators are looking into the case of an overnight fire that struck the Kraai Well Drilling building off of 124th Avenue in Shelbyville. Neighbors in that eastern Allegan County community called 911 after hearing explosions, and crews arrived around 1:45 AM to find the garage ablaze. A parked vehicle inside apparently sparked the fire, which spread to other machinery. The business offices suffered some damage as well. The building was vacant at the time; no firefighters were injured.
