LEWISTON (WKZO) — State Police in Oscoda County are investigating what appears to be a Triple-murder suicide near Lewiston.
They found the bodies of a mother and her two sons in a home on Cherry Creek Road, along with the suspect, who had apparently committed suicide.
His relation to the three is not known, only that he is believed to be a man from downstate Michigan.
Trooper Mike Hahn says the boys were only two and three years of age. He says the suspect in the shooting is believed to be from downstate, and his relation to the woman is unclear.
Hahn says the suspect had made phone calls to people he knew in southern Michigan, telling them what he planned to do before he did it.
No names have been released pending the notification of family.
