LANSING (WKZO) — Michigan Governor Rick Snyder flirtation with the presidential race is over, done in by the fact he already has a job.
He is confirming reports that he will not be running for president in 2016. He issued a statement Thursday evening saying he is focusing his attention on “continuing Michigan’s reinvention.”
The failure of the Road funding bill and coming up with an alternative is going to mean he isn’t going to have the time to campaign for President.
He says he still plans to travel around the nation to talk about the state, he is just apparently going to leave the part about the condition of the roads out.
