FLINT (WKZO) — “Giggles the Pig” is running to become Mayor of Flint, and may have just as good a chance of winning as any other candidate.
The city was just trying to get its act back together after being under the control of an emergency manager for years. Last week, the City Clerk admitted to screwing up election nominations, and missed the filing deadline and now none of the candidates for mayor can appear on the ballot.
Giggles says it may be just as well. Her online post says one of the candidates is a man who served 19-years for murder, and another a drunk driver who was caught driving the wrong way down the highway on three flat tires.
She wonders if the city is really ready for self-governance if they can’t even handle nominations.
Giggles, whoever he or she may really be, says if City Hall is going to be a circus than every circus needs animals, and at least she has never killed anyone.
