PORTAGE (WKZO)– Another major roadway in Kalamazoo County is about to become a cone zone, and while they are promising to keep some lanes open on Westnedge, you can expect the congestion to be a problem at peak times.
They plan to replace everything from the storm sewers and utilities up to the streets and gutters from Dawnlee, where Bob Evans is located to Mall Drive.
Businesses that were hit hard by the reconstruction of the I-94 ramp may be in for another long summer.
Work on the 4.2-million dollar project begins this week and won’t be finished until August.
