TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — An elderly woman was shot to death in her home in the 6100 block of Poppy St. in Texas Township early monday. They are holding a 75-year-old man as a suspect.
Undersheriff Pauli Matyas says a daughter discovered the shooting victim and called 9-1-1.
The victim was pronounced dead at the home.
The suspect was still in the area when deputies arrived and was taken into custody.
No one else was at home at the time.
Matyas says they are still working to determine the relationship between the two.
