ALLEGAN COUNTY (WKZO) –An Allegan County Deputy is nursing bumps and bruises after his cruiser was hit by a wayward pick-up truck on U.S. 131 during drive time Wednesday morning.
His overhead lights were flashing, he had just pulled over to investigate an accident involving a semi north of 120th avenue when the pick-up truck hit his car, then hit another vehicle and partially overturned.
The pick-up driver was not injured. The Deputy was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
State Police are investigating.
