LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Michigan Democrats will join with Republicans by participating in the March 8th Presidential Primary. State Dems were forced to make all their delegates “non-committed” in 2008 because the primary was held too early by national party rules, and three years ago, the matter was moot because President Obama was running unopposed for reelection. Next year’s date is in line with NDP guidelines, so the 152 delegates heading to Philadelphia will be selected based on this primary vote.
