(DETROIT MI) (WKZO) -The Detroit Tigers, still smarting from a Saturday thrashing at the hands of Chicago, decided that turn-about is fair play…to the White Sox’ regret. Detroit hitters jumped on Sox pitching for four runs in the 1st inning…cruising to a 9-1 win. Yoedis Cespedes continued his timely hitting by hitting a grand slam home run in that 1st inning…Cespedes was two-for-four…both home runs…with six RBIs overall…while Victor Martinez went three-for-three to help pace the Tigers. Shane Greene cruised to his third win of the season. Detroit will host the NY Yankees for a four-game series beginning Monday…broadcast time on 590 WKZO is 6:40p.
