LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Cindy Gamrat, the Plainwell Republican Representative, was asked to no longer attend the party’s caucus by House Speaker Kevin Cotter. The Holland Sentinel reports that Gamrat criticized subcommittee budgets in a Facebook post during a caucus meeting and Cotter reprimanded her for it, saying that she “violated the ‘sancity of the caucus’” and not to attend anymore caucus meetings. Gamrat disagrees, saying that she didn’t reveal any confidential information in the Facebook Post. Gamrat is also running to be Republican National Committeewoman.
