LANSING, MI (WHTC) – State Representative Cindy Gamrat of Plainwell has been barred from future closed-door GOP caucus meetings. No official reason was given, but MIRS News cites sources within the party saying that she allegedly leaked information from previous confidential gatherings over a lengthy period of time, even though she has only been in the House since January. Gamrat denies the claims and made no mention of the matter in a Friday appearance on WHTC’s “Talk of the Town” program with Juke Van Oss. She is a candidate for the open state Republican National Committeewoman seat that will be decided on May 9th.
