LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Reform of the Michigan’s No-Fault insurance system now heads to the House. The Senate approved legislation that would dismantle the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, which oversees over $17 billion to pay out auto injury claims over $530,000. A state-administered public authority would take this over.
The cry by motorists who annually pay $186 for this mandatory coverage led lawmakers to put this on the proverbial fast track.
