KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Kalamazoo Utilities Department says someone has sent out a very detailed and strange survey questionnaire to city residents, that appears to be on official city stationary but suggests some outrageous ideas.
It claims that the city will be trying out some new “purification processes of varying effectiveness” to treat city water and they want homeowners to report any tremors, dizziness, seizures or hospital stays that may result.
The City’s Mike Wetzel says it appears to be a very elaborate hoax.
At first city officials thought it was an April Fools joke, but they missed April 1st. There is no mechanism in the letter for the survey’s to get back to the author. It’s a mystery at this point.
If you get one in the mail, read it, have a good laugh and then throw it away.
