EAST LANSING (WKZO) — The 50-thousand students who attend Michigan State will be receiving E-mail surveys today asking them about their personal experiences with sexual misconduct, harassment and assaults.
University officials plan to use the results, which may not be available until September, to formulate campus policies and programs.
MSU will be one of 27-schools across the nation participating in the surveys
. The University of Michigan will be another.
To get students to participate in the lengthy, comprehensive and personally revealing survey, there will be cash and gift card prizes offered as an incentive.
Both M.S.U. and the U .of M. are among the 104 colleges and universities under investigation by the U.S. Dept. of Education for their handling of rape allegations.
