PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — Calhoun County Deputies say an adult and two teens broke into a home while the owner was in the shower Easter Sunday.
They are in lock-up facing first degree home invasion charges.
The owner of the home on Rondale Lane in Pennfield Township came out of his shower, walked into his bedroom and found the three ransacking the place.
One was carrying a backpack with his property inside. He told the burglars he was calling the police, and they made a run for it.
Responding officers spotted and arrested the 30-year-old Battle Creek man, a 16-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy. No word if they are related.
The stolen property was recovered.
The three suspects could be formally charged today.
