KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Now that the Transportation Authority has set the final numbers, Kalamazoo City Commissioners are expected to endorse a “yes” vote on their request for extra voted millage this summer to support and expand the line-haul bus service currently operating in the metropolitan area.
The authority will be requesting .75 mil on the August 4th ballot.
The proposal would include later service on some routes, shorter waits for buses on the busiest routes and Sunday service for the first time.
