DETROIT (WKZO) — A Detroit mother accused of killing two of her children and freezing their bodies is now facing a total of eleven felony charges.
Mitchelle Blair is facing charges of murder, torture and abuse in the deaths of 13-year-old Stoni Blair and nine-year-old Stephen Gage Berry.
Police say their bodies were found in a freezer inside Blair’s home last month.
Her attorney says the first order of business is to get his client a Psychiatric exam. He will be able to decide from there whether he has a chance with an insanity defense.
A judge granted that motion and a request to see three hours of videotaped interviews with Blair’s surviving children.
