Kalamazoo (WKZO) — Several dozen citizens turned out Monday evening for a lively discussion on sick pay.
State Rep. John Hoadley is supporting proposed legislation that would make sick pay mandatory for full time and part time workers in Michigan, and that is why he organized a Town Hall meeting to discuss the legislationat the Library
Currently about a million full time Michiganders don’t get sick days.
The bills face an uncertain future in the Republican controlled legislature.
