LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Small Business Association of Michigan’s latest Entrepreneurship Score Card ranked Michigan the 12th-best state in the nation for business. This compares to being 42nd in a similar survey conducted a decade ago. Notable increases in new businesses, private lending to small businesses and the growth of technology-based businesses were seen as major factors in the improved rating, as well as the number of patents filed, STEM education, and new jobs in technological fields.
