he Spartans advanced to the title game with a 62-58 win over Maryland in the Big Ten semifinals Saturday at the United Center.
They will face Wisconsin today. Travis Trice led the way with 20 points for the 23-and-10 Michigan State squad.
The Terrapins fell despite 22 points from Melo Trimble. Maryland awaits its NCAA Tournament seeding with a 27-and-6 record.
The Terps haven’t played in March Madness since 2010.
