KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — St. Patrick’s Day isn’t until Tuesday but Kalamazoo’s Parade will be Saturday on the Downtown Mall.
Margaret Strezlecki with the Irish American club says they will have the bands, the floats, the Irish dancers.
This year their Grand Marshall is former Loaves and Fishes director Anne Wend Lipsey. They plan to collect canned goods from parade watchers for distribution by the Food Bank.
It will be followed by an Irish Hooley, a party but with a cause this time. It will be a fund raiser for two cancer patients.
The Parade Kicks off at 11am along the five blocks of the Downtown Mall starting at Michigan Ave..
