KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Police agencies all over West Michigan are telling residents that as the snow melts away this week, stay away from piles of trash that may be revealed by the side of the road. There is a good chance it’s someone’s expended meth lab.
Kalamazoo Undershenriff Pauli Matyas says most of it is toxic chemicals.
They recently ran across two in Alamo Township. They found two dead deer nearby and he is sure the meth trash was responsible.
He says if you come across a pile that includes old pop bottles holding unknown liquids, plastic tubing and tin foil, just note the location and report it to police. They will have it removed safely. .
