State Board of Education Ready to Interview Superintendent Semifinalists

LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Interviews of the six semifinalists for the state School Superintendent post that Mike Flanagan is retiring from will be conducted this week. Dearborn’s Brian Whitson, Livonia’s Randy Liepa and Alan Ingram from Massachusetts will meet with state Board members on Tuesday, while Marshall’s Randall Davis, Vickie Markavitch of Oakland County and Scott Menzel of Washtenaw County chat on Wednesday. All six interviews can be seen online at the state Education Department website.
