LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Two state House subcommittees may hold hearings this week into Governor Snyder’s proposed merging of the Michigan Department of Community Health with the Michigan Department of Human Services. The appropriate panels on those subjects in the Lower Chamber’s Appropriations Committee wants assurances from Snyder Administration officials that promised efficiencies can be achieved without a drop in the quality of customer service. The merger is slated to take effect in April.
