LANSING (WKZO) — Ronna Romney McDaniels will be the next Chair of the Michigan Republican Party.
She was selected over the weekend. She is the niece of Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and granddaughter of former Governor George Romney.
She had been serving as the state party’s National Committeeman and had been the frontrunner in a small field of candidates for weeks.
She replaces Bobby Schostak, who decided not to run again.
