KALAMAZOO (WKZO) It’s not every night we get down to ten below. And while it may literally be a pain to be out in weather like this there are some fun things we can do, the wintertime equivalent of frying an egg on the side walk.
WMU Professor Robert Ruff says you can blow up a balloon inside using your hot breath and then take it outside and see what it does.
He says if you fling a pan of boiling water into air this cold, it instantly turns into snow flakes.
He says if you blow bubbles into air this cold, they don’t pop, they freeze. And crack like crystal.
It is possible to have frozen fun, just don’t spend a lot of time outside experimenting unless you are bundled up, or the frozen one could be you.
