KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Convicted cabbie rapist Robert Prescott has been given 42 to 62 years in prison after being found guilty of 15-sexual assault and gun felonies.
After outbursts in court denying his guilt and verbally abusing the victim at Monday’s original sentencing hearing, sentencing was rescheduled for Wednesday, with Prescott relegated to the other side of a video screen from jail.
It did not stop him from interrupting the procedure and declaring he plans to appeal.
For the four time loser who is 39, a 42-year minimum sentence is the closest thing to a life term.
