KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — A drug raid on a house on Palmer Street on Kalamazoo’s south east side has resulted in four arrests and the seizure of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, packaging materials, several loaded rifle magazines and nearly $4,000 in cash.
The KVET anti-drug squad had gotten a number of tips and complaints that a high level of drug activity in the area was affecting the quality of life, and that the house in the 1500 block of Palmer was the source of a lot of the problem.
Officers found 7 people in the home but only arrested four, mostly on drug charges.
One of the four had outstanding warrants, and one was arrested for obstructing officers.
All four of the suspects are Kalamazoo residents.
