DETROIT (WKZO) — Ford Motor Company’s recent announcement of additional jobs at three plants that build the F-150 pickup means some current workers are getting a raise. The automaker says the popularity of the vehicle has enabled them to hire 650 workers at the Dearborn Stamping Plant and the Sterling Axle facility in Michigan. The addition of these new employees means around 300 current workers will move from the Tier 2 pay scale to Tier 1 under the terms of 2011 labor contract.
