DETROIT (WKZO) — January U.S. sales for General Motors were up by 18 percent over the same month in 2014. It made it the automaker’s best January in seven years.
Highlights include a 29-percent jump for GMC with every truck and crossover in the segment posting gains. Chevrolet sales rose by 20 percent including a 25-percent rise for Silverado. Cadillac sales rose by three percent during the period largely driven by the XTS and Escalade.
