GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) — It’s not nearly as big as the North American International Auto Show in Detroit every January, but the Michigan International Auto Show is setting up in DeVos Place in Grand Rapids for this week’s opening. This will be the 17th year for the event, and the show opens on Thursday.
Automakers and dealers will be showing off 300 new and classic vehicles, and even bringing in some Hollywood with the motorcycle ridden by Henry Winkler as “The Fonz” in the 1970s sitcom, “Happy Days.” The 150-dollar per ticket Charity Spectacular is Wednesday night, with proceeds benefiting Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
