DETROIT (WKZO) — A former Detroit Police officer will serve up to 20 years in prison in connection with an identity scam. Authorities say 41-year-old Tamboura Jackson, of Clinton Township, used false police reports to improve people’s credit scores. In December, he was convicted by a jury of felony racketeering. Jackson and co-defendant 35-year-old Lisa Curtis, of Macomb Township, were accused of fabricating identity theft stories and submitting false police reports to a national credit reporting agency.
