FREDONIA TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — Calhoun County Deputies have released the name of a woman who was killed when the SUV she was riding in slid on the ice Thursday morning.
The SUV crashed into a tree near the intersection of 13-mile and K- Drive South in Freedonia Township at about 8:30 a.m.
Ashley Houle-Redner was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Christopher Hayes had to be pried out of the wreckage and was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo in critical condition.
Both are 24 and from Ceresco.
