ORANGE (WKZO) — The brother of Michigan Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley is a suspect in a hit-and-run accident.
John Calley is being questioned in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Orange Township, outside of Grand Rapids, in which a woman was reportedly dragged by an SUV. According to authorities, Calley was leaving a gas station when a woman tried to get into the passenger side of his vehicle.
Surveillance video shows the vehicle driving away, dragging the woman before running her over. Police say the 25-year-old turned himself in on Thursday and told authorities he had no idea he had hit the woman.
