CANADA (WKZO) — You have heard of the “Polar Vortex” and it’s not unusual for Michigan to be visited by an “Alberta Clipper” or a “Siberian Express”.
This weekend we are in the path of a “Saskatchewan Screamer”.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Evan Webb says it’s a lot like a clipper, the only difference is where it originates.
He says they usually leave accumulated snowfall behind.
He says we could get 2 to 4 inches, maybe more.
The next two days will have temperatures on the mild side and he says the Saskatchewan Screamer will come roaring into the state on Sunday.
