IONIA (WKZO) — Classes have been canceled on Thursday for Ionia Public Schools as students and staff say goodbye to a fallen teacher. Kim Stewart, an early childhood special education teacher, died Saturday after a long illness. The district decided to cancel classes already since many members in the community were planning to attend Thursday morning’s funeral.
