DETROIT (WKZO) — Former Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer is reportedly leaving Detroit for Washington, DC. CBS Sports is reporting the Washington Nationals have reached a deal with the former Tigers ace on a seven-year contract for over 180-million dollars. Detroit offered Scherzer a six-year, 144-million dollar contract extension in the spring, but the 30-year-old turned down the offer.
