KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Martin Luther King Jr.’s National Holiday had a little more edge this year following the events in Ferguson and New York.
It may have been the realization that we may have further to go than we had hoped when it comes to racial relations.
In Kalamazoo some attended convocations, others attended marches.
Most acknowledged there is more work to do. It was a similar story nationwide as attendance was up at a number of King Holiday events.
