KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Kalamazoo City Staff have altered a proposal for design standards on the near south side of the downtown after Commissioners got a number of complaints about it from current property owners two weeks ago.
In the new proposal, all existing properties, except commercial properties will be exempt.
Commissioners will find out whether or not that will satisfy opponents when they hold a public hearing Tuesday night.
Their regular Monday night meeting has been moved to Tuesday because of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
