DETROIT (WKZO) — It appears that the Detroit Tigers might be getting ready for life without one of their top pitchers in recent years. General manager Dave Dombrowski told the “New York Post” Thursday that he does not believe the team will re-sign Max Scherzer.
After Scherzer won the 2013 Cy Young Award, the Tigers offered up a six-year contract extension worth 144-million dollars last spring. That offer was rejected.
