DETROIT (WKZO) — Detroit’s bankruptcy bill has been cut by millions. The investment bank Lazar, which worked as advisor during the proceedings, lopped three-million off of its bill.
Lazar is one of many law firms, advisers and consultants asked to reduce their fees. They’re the first to file a revision. All together the city was billed a total of about 170-million dollars from various firms.
Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes has asked them all to sharpen their pencils and revise their figures.
