MATTAWAN (WKZO) — Van Buren Co. Deputies have released the names of the 7-Mattawan residents hurt in a head on crash on M-43 late Tuesday night.
Upon arrival, sheriffs deputies found two vehicles with severe front end damage blocking all lanes of M43.
Two of the people involved were trapped in their vehicles, and had to be freed by emergency responders, and all were taken to area hospitals.
The occupants of the first vehicle have been identified as 39 year old Dana Garzella, 12 year old Shaelyn Garzella, and ten year old Colton Garzella.
In the other vehicle were 25 year old Terri Clemons, 42 year old Nicholas Poon, two year old Emilia Poon, and five month old Elijah Poon.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
