GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) — Police are investigating threatening letters that were delivered to Calvin College, Kentwood Public Schools’ Bowen Elementary, and Wyoming’s Godfrey Elementary.
The letters were opened at Calvin and Bowen, and included a white powder that authorities determined was not harmful. School administrators in Wyoming did not open the letter.
Calvin College put out an alert to students Wednesday about the threatening letter and noted in the alert that the letter referred to the powder in the envelope as anthrax.
