UNDATED (WHTC)- A man linked to three separate bank robberies in Oshtemo Township, Portage and South Haven was formerly charged in Kalamazoo County court yesterday for those crimes. Kalamazoo County District Judge Paul Bridenstine denied t 49 year old Brian Standiford bond, citing his extensive criminal past as a key factor in his decision. The bank robberies allegedly occurred between January 5th and January 13th of this year. Brian Standiford spent time in prison in the mid ninties for bank robbery convictions in Northwest Indiana, most due by his admission to an out of control drug problem. His final bank heist on January 13th created a full-on police chase down I-94 before Standiford was apprehended.
