WALKER (WKZO) — The man accused of killing 81-year-old Casey Wybenga in a Walker hotel room in late December is facing life in prison if convicted, and has confessed to the murder.
Walker Police Chief Catherine Garcia-Lindstrom says their case is based on more than just the confession from Matthew Brunn. She said they have other evidence that points to a murder.
Brunn is being held without bond in the Kent County Jail.
