KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — The 911 calls made during the 193-vehicle pileup on Interstate 94 on Friday are now being made public and the terror felt by drivers is evident.
In one call, a man yells at the dispatcher to not interrupt him as he describes the crash scene, saying it involved six or seven tractor trailers. By the time the crashing was over, there were 76 semis involved.
The crash shut down both directions of I-94 from Friday morning until 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
