VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) — Two people from Eau Claire are recovering from bumps and bruises after they were in a van that rolled over and ended up on its roof in a ditch in Van Buren County’s Geneva Township.
22-year-old Sylvia Payne was driving. She lost control on the ice on C.R. 681, slid across the centerline and wound up hanging from her seat belts.
The same for passenger Brad Pullins.
Both refused medical treatment for very minor injuries at the scene. Their Silver Windstar was totaled.
She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
